"When you watch a blockbuster movie, you see the actors and the director's name. But who chose the house they’re filming in? Who decided the colors the characters are wearing to match their mood?"  a script is just paper until the Production Team brings it to life.

2. The Location Manager: The "World Builder"

Explain that the script might say "A busy Lagos street," but the Location Manager has to find one that is safe, has the right lighting, and won't have background noise ruining the audio.

• Key Insight:  they handle the logistics and "legal" side of filming (permits), which is a huge part of Media Management.

3. The Costume Manager: The "Visual Storyteller"

Explain that costumes aren't just "clothes." They tell us if a character is rich, poor, stressed, or powerful without the character saying a word.

• Key Insight: If a script says a character is "going through a hard time," the Costume Manager chooses duller colors or worn-out fabrics to show that transition visually.

4. The "Managerial" Challenge (Academic Link)

• Point: Production is about managing Resources, Time, and People. If the Location Manager isn't ready, the whole crew (and the money) is wasted for that

• The Engagement Poll: "If you were on a film set, would you rather be the one finding the locations or the one designing the costumes? Let’s talk in the comments!"
